Pumped: The Art of Modern Beer at Colours May Vary

In collaboration with Super Friendz, Colours May Vary is the perfect venue for a unique event celebrating everything beer. This is the launch of the Pumped exhibition, which celebrates the work of artists and the breweries they have created for. Beer tasting, beer prints, beer magazines, beer books... beer. We hop to see you there!
Interweave Launch at Bradford Industrial Museum
Saturday 13th May
As part of the Yorkshire Year of the Textile, this exhibition celebrates the work of sculptor Mitzi Cunliffe. The format of this launch event will be a conversation between University of Leeds Lecturer Deborah Gardner and Ann Sumner, Strategic Lead for the Yorkshire Year of Textiles programme.
Creative Networks: An Audience with Simon Thorpe at Leeds College of Art

Always a favourite, the Creative Networks events offer a chance to learn and be inspired by leaders in the creative industry, and past speakers have never disappointed. This time, Simon Thorpe brings to the stage his expertise in textiles, fashion and interior design, since graduating from the Royal College of Art in 1977.

Creative Networks: Frances Morris, Director of the Tate Modern at Leeds College of Art

What's better than one Creative Networks event? Two Creative Networks events, in the same month! Frances Morris is a long-standing member of the Tate team, having joined as a curator in 1987, then going on to become Head of Displays at Tate Modern, then Director of Collection for International Art. In April last year, she was appointed as Director of the Tate Modern - and that's something we want to know more about. Join this free event to learn more about her fascinating career.
