Craft recruit for leading brand, design and digital agencies – throughout Leeds, Yorkshire and across the North of England.
Formed in 2014, we’re a relatively young company. We’ve had a fantastic first few years and are looking to continue our growth over the next twelve months.
Our reputation is everything – a lot of our new clients come from referrals and through word of mouth. We’ve established ourselves as a knowledgeable, refreshingly honest and truly consultative agency and are committed to staying true to those values.
Our bespoke, tailored approach provides a highly positive recruitment experience, for both clients and job seekers. We’re committed to our craft and love the industry we recruit for.
As we grow, we want consultants at Craft to truly understand and specialise in their given discipline. In this particular role, you'll specialise in recruiting for the creative market, working with talented brand designers, digital creatives, strategists, art directors, UX consultants, motion designers and more.
You’ll work closely with our existing clients as well as looking to establish new relationships.
Consultants at Craft will:
Connect - Develop lasting relationships with new and existing clients. Identify opportunities and respond to them. Continuously look to expand our network.
Represent - Promote our brand, our services and our place in the market.
Advise - Offer genuine consultation to both clients and candidates.
Find out more - Become an ‘expert’ in their field. Keep up to date with goings on in your market. Understand their talent pool.
Thrive - Through all of the above comes success!
We’ll define success together. As a Craft consultant, you’ll create your own business plans, develop relationships in a way that works for you and set your own goals. We advise and offer support the along the way, but you’ll have autonomy to manage your own workload.
This is an exciting time to join Craft. There is an opportunity here for the right person to thrive, add value and truly have a say in the future of the business.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking to speak to experienced consultants – with a natural ability to form genuine, long lasting relationships with clients, built on trust and knowledge.
Some creative industry experience is vital here - we're looking for someone who will be at home having consultative conversations with creative directors and junior designers alike.
You'll need a strong background in recruitment, with a demonstrable record of success and a commercial mindset.
Strong communication and negotiation skills go without saying – you’ll be at home influencing and advising clients, promoting Craft and the opportunities you recruit for.
Above all you’ll need to be a driven, proactive, self-motivated and commercially aware consultant - with a thirst to learn more about the industry you recruit for. If you need micro managing – then we are not the place for you.
We are happy to provide growth and training opportunities, but you’ll need to be able to manage your time and prioritise your workload effectively. We will provide you with all the tools you need, but with autonomy and flexibility, to ensure you succeed.
The Extra Bits...
The package - A competitive starting salary dependent on experience and a generous commission structure.
Build a business - Join a growing recruitment business with a fantastic client base and enjoy working with like-minded ambitious people.
Flexible working – You take responsibility for your workload – so why not manage your working hours too? We want to offer consultants the flexibility they need to be successful.
Holidays - People do their best work when they’re healthy and happy, that's why we offer 25 days [plus bank holidays] as standard. Plus 1 extra day per year of service up to 30!
Love what you do - Your time at work should be enjoyable. You’ll be working in a culture that encourages growth, autonomy and challenging the status quo.
Training and development - We’re happy to support and develop our team – that’s why we have a budget set aside each year to invest in your development. We attend industry conferences and enjoy getting out the office to learn and meet people.
City centre location - Based in the heart of Leeds at The Tetley, a beautiful art deco former brewery HQ, complete with exhibition space, a cafe, bar and restaurant. Free parking.
