Front End Developer

The Company

A brand, design and digital agency that produce both beautiful branding and websites alike. 

With a fantastic portfolio of clients that range from universities to property developers and beer brands - the focus of every project is about strong technology and a unique creative approach.

The Position

You will be collaborating with the agency's talented design team to develop intricate, user-focussed designs into cross browser, fully functional responsive websites. 

You will be taking full website builds from initial concept to delivery - day to day the projects will vary, keeping the work fresh, high tempo and interesting.

Forming part of the agency's senior team, you'll advise on what technologies to use as well as offering technical advice in meetings internally and with clients.

What We’re Looking For

You will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of responsive web development with the ability to troubleshoot any unforeseen issues and challenges when creating interfaces that scale across different devices and screen sizes. We're looking for:

  • 3+ years minimum experience 
  • HTML, CSS3 mark-up skills
  • Experience with JavaScript and JavaScript libraries
  • Plenty of WordPress experience
  • Portfolio of responsive web build projects

The following would be very beneficial:

  • PHP5+ knowledge
  • Experience with email development (best practice)
  • Some Adobe Creative Suite skills

What’s On Offer?

Salary £28,000 - £35,000
Holiday entitlement increases by 1 day per year
