An integrated digital and communications agency based in the centre of Leeds - have a rare opportunity to join the team. And better still you'll be able to work remotely! [You still need to be based within a reasonable distance of Leeds - to pop in for meetings from time to time.]

They specialise in strategic multi-channel campaigns using an intelligent mix of digital marketing, technology and user insight. With a number of talented, recent additions to their team, they’re looking to bolster their team further.

The Position

As the Lead Developer you’ll ultimately be responsible for the execution of tech solutions in the agency - you’ll be involved in the selection and leadership of other developers [predominantly external]. So you'll be hands on in managing projects as well as their delivery. And day to day you’ll be building robust and innovative solutions for a portfolio of high profile clients.  

There's an opportunity here to advise and influence technologies used within the agency - ensuring they’re in line with the agency strategy, budget and timelines. So we need someone who is comfortable and confident taking on this responsibility.

You won't be alone in this regard though - you'll be working with highly skilled digital-strategists who know their stuff! 

Expectations are high, you’ll be facilitating technology and methodology decisions, standardising system architecture, writing clean and reusable code through best practices, source control and deployment processes. 

What We’re Looking For

We want to hear from experienced Full Stack PHP Developers with the capacity to lead a team. You’ll be passionate about technology - up to date with key trends in the market / industry with the ability to implement innovative and creative solutions to every project. 

You’ll be articulate, communicative, analytical and inquisitive. Working closely with other [non technical] members of the team and clients alike, means you need to be both diplomatic and tactful - this is a dynamic working environment - you need to effectively whilst multi-tasking and troubleshooting from time to time.

Advanced knowledge and experience of:

  • HTML5 and CSS3
  • PHP
  • Advanced level (knowledge and experience) of programming languages and methodologies
  • They use Craft CMS for a number of projects - so experience here is necessery

What’s On Offer?

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
