Senior Account Manager

The Booking
This established global creative studio in Amsterdam is looking to bring on a Senior Account Manager to play a key role in delivering top-tier work across a portfolio of clients, ranging from global leaders to exciting start-ups and challenger brands, in industries such as FMCG, hospitality, tech and wellness.

You will report to the Business Director and partner closely with the Associate Director to lead day-to-day relationships across core accounts, owning and nurturing designated accounts to ensure they continue to grow seamlessly. You’ll oversee complex, multi-workstream projects, manage budgets, track financials, forecast, report on profitability, and support new business initiatives through proposal writing, pitch presentation and strategic input.

We are looking to speak to people to join on an initial 6-month contract, who are based in Amsterdam, or within commutable distance, as this role requires a hybrid working style, with three days onsite in their amazing central studio.

Contract structure:
1. 6-month contract
2. 12-month contract
3. 17-month contract

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a proactive and driven account handler with a strong track record working in the design industry – you’ll be more than capable of managing holistic creative projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for design and a desire to grow client relationships while working across multiple projects.

Strong client services experience is key, paired with a keen eye for detail, commercial acumen and the ability to build strong client relationships and identify growth opportunities. You’ll be a real team player, ready to collaborate with those around you and work in an independent and organised manner, managing multiple projects and accounts at work as well as managing up, down and across teams.

You’ll need to have a solid understanding of financial processes and strong communication skills, with proven ability when it comes to proposal and pitch writing in English, and last but not least, any experience with interaction design and technology would be a real bonus for this one, too!
