The Position
Leading and working closely with the illustration team, you’ll help to bring concepts to life through high-quality and original prints and patterns! Creating trend-focused and commercial prints, you’ll oversee the entire design process from ideation using moodboards and initial sketches to the final artwork stages.
You’ll work your magic to ensure designs not only have bucketloads of personality but align with the brand’s aesthetics, sharing your knowledge and elevating the studio’s already stellar reputation at the same time.
Super hands-on in your approach, you’ll well and truly utilise your solid hand-painting skills to execute ideas, mentoring and inspiring more junior members of the team to ensure output never misses the mark.
What We’re Looking For
A bright and instinctive creative with a love of bold design and plenty of passion for what you do.
Our ideal candidate will be an exceptional Illustrator and Painter with a incredible set of commercial experience behind them, working as a Lead Designer with plenty of experience within the gifting, homeware and fashion industry.
Skills across the Adobe Creative Suite are key here! Your portfolio should well and truly highlight your strong eye for design, colour and trends, and your incredible ability to adapt your style to the brief at hand.
Mentoring experience is key here too, paired with your enthusiasm and positive attitude, you’ll be a truly positive influence on the team around you. Most importantly, you’ll be the type of person who knows how to transform ideas into something really special.
