Four day week
Everyone at Craft works a four day week. Since we adopted a four day week we’ve seen effectiveness and job satisfaction increase across the business. Everyone’s happier and more successful… what’s not to like?

Commission
Commission is uncapped so there’s no limit on your earning potential.

Holidays
On top of your four day week, you also get 20 days annual leave a year + bank holidays. That’s a whopping 80 days off a year!

Learning and development
We continuously look to improve, as individuals and as a business - and we never pass up an opportunity to learn more about our industry. We run an ‘all-agency day’ every four weeks where we down tools and get together as a team to hone our skills.

Remote working
We’ve moved to a fully remote model, but we’re keen to strike a healthy balance between remote working and building a great culture. This is why we run our all-agency days, and why all employees need to be able to get to our hubs in Manchester and Leeds from time to time.

Trips abroad
We celebrate success as a team with an annual all-expenses paid knees-up. In 2018 we drank beers in the sun in Amsterdam. In 2019 we rode electric scooters around Copenhagen. The less said about 2020 the better. We’re busy planning our 2021 trip as we speak…

The job - Design Recruiter
We’re looking for a consultant who can help take us to the next level.

You’re an experienced recruiter, who can hit the ground running, drive permanent recruitment projects, and help us grow client relationships. You’ll have a sixth sense for a good opportunity and be a dab hand at converting enquiries.

You’ll need to talk recruitment with everyone from creative directors to junior designers - so experience in the design industry will come in handy; it’s a nice to have, but by no means essential.

We’re currently recruiting at a number of levels. We receive a lot of incoming business and have long-standing client relationships, so if you’re a Delivery Consultant, that works for us. Likewise, if you’re a Senior or Principal Consultant who wants to build a team, we can provide you with a foundation to do that.

Our Clients
First thing’s first: we only work with clients we want to work with. It means we’re excited about the work we take on; keeping us engaged with our clients and our standards high.

We partner with design agencies and studios throughout the UK, who specialise in branding, digital design and motion graphics -- many of whom we work with on a retained or exclusive basis. We carefully match them up with talented people. Our consultancy is our craft and we take great pride in high standards, working together with our clients to shape creative teams.

If the work isn’t right for us, we say no.

Our Expectations
We believe every client challenge is different and it’s our job to understand ambitions before offering solutions. So as recruiters we need to be curious; happy to speak up and ask (sometimes obvious, sometimes difficult, often interesting) questions.

We’re looking to build the Craft team with somebody driven, friendly and self-motivated with a commercial mindset and a strong track record in recruitment. We have big plans, especially in the next twelve months, so we need someone who can match our ambition. Hopefully, that’s you!
