You’ll be second in command to the established Creative Director in a design team of ten. As Design Director/ACD you’ll take the lead on one or two bigger projects a year. From the off you’ll work on a huge rebrand for one of Scotland’s most exciting and bold distilleries along with overseeing seniors and midweights on other projects.
The world of food and drink is fast moving and you’ll need to have your finger on the pulse of the latest trends. You’ll work collaboratively with the existing creative team to bring these concepts to life, delivering beautiful designs which are always grounded in sound strategic thinking.
You’ll be working on core rebrands and tackling some seriously exciting NPD briefs too, for established players and challengers alike.
What We’re Looking For
Someone with experience at Design Director-level already who isn't fazed being handed a large project with an A-list client. In terms of the split between design and direction you’ll likely be hands-on for 75% of your time. The rest of your time will be spent directing, leading projects, strategy and client relations when needed.
You’ll be an instinctive creative, passionate about design and always striving to improve yourself and the agency. This is a rare opportunity to work directly on your passion, so vested interest in food/drink is a must along with examples of this in your portfolio, preferably with some experience working on premium, luxury and limited editions.
This is a remote position, with occasional trips to the studio once we can do that sort of thing. So whether you’re sipping Tanqueray, Macallan or a pint of Guinness, all tipples are welcome.
