It’s (supposedly) the height of summer, so a great time for some after-work events to swig beer and meet some new faces. Below are our picks of the month, but if you know of any design or digital events in Yorkshire we’re missing, just let us know on twitter!
The Write Night at The Bowery
Friday 1st July
What’s not to love about a BYOB writing night in a relaxed and creative space? Lead by a published author who will be available for feedback and promps, this event would be great if you are looking to stretch your wings into the world of the written word. Just buy a ticket and take a bottle of wine with you, we’re sure the prose will flow freely.
Drupal Yorkshire at Munro House
Monday 4th July
A Drupal user group, who meet up monthly to share their knowledge and exchange ideas, with live speakers on different topics. This month, there’s a talk from Dan Harper.
Forefront Leeds at the Belgrave

UX Sheffield at Bunnyfoot
Wednesday 27th July
This edition of UX Sheffield is about lies users tell us, and why we shouldn’t listen to them… a bold claim, but one which will be backed up with a talk from John Dixon!
Glug Leeds: It’s not so grim up North at Duke Studios
Thursday 28th July
It’s been a year since Glug was introduced to Leeds, and the event has had it’s highs and lows. This month is set to be a great one, with talks from successful agencies and one of our favourite Northern creative companies, Fred Aldous. Top it all off with a great venue and a free beer, it’s the event to head to this summer, and we’ll be seeing you there.
We hope to see you at some of the events above soon; but if you’re not able to make them and would like to talk to us about your recruitment needs, just get in touch!Email
